Operations Guide

OPSEC / SECURITY

Protect the Chain. Protect Paradise.

Sons of Ores lives because the hole stays quiet. These are non-negotiable.

Chain is classified Stay aware FC call = law

Do this every time

  • Post hostiles to MUTHR — name, ship, system, direction.
  • Update bookmarks — sigs / statics / rolled holes.
  • Share any intel you have — even “possible probes” helps.
  • Log rolls & collapses (“C3 rolled @ 18:22”).
  • Use corp / alliance Discord for intel only.

Never do this

  • Don’t share the chain outside alliance.
  • Don’t screenshot / post sig maps in public or 3rd-party Discords.
  • Don’t ping non-MUTHR friends to “come see this.”
  • Don’t ignore RED ALERT. Hold and await FC orders.

Situational awareness — why we watch the doors

Wormholes are ambush space. It is strongly recommended that pilots keep an eye on the current chain, scan when it makes sense, and report anything unusual. The more eyes we have, the harder we are to surprise.

Scan when you undock Alts can hold exits Post timers to Discord Ask for escort if unsure

Flying solo without intel in WH space can get you killed fast — use the channels, that’s what they’re for.

RED ALERT: FCs on duty have tactical control — form up, stay quiet, wait for target / doctrine / warp-in.

Thanks very much for aligning with this security measure. We appreciate it. 🙂
Wormhole Survival 101

How we keep each other alive in a hidden system.

Wormholes are amazing — and unforgiving. These are the habits Sons of Ores uses so everyone can make ISK, undock with confidence, and get home.

1. Light scanning, every session

If you log in, do a quick scan. Doesn’t have to be perfect — just current.

  • Probe the system, name sigs clearly.
  • Drop to the chain / bookmark folder.
  • Got an alt? Park one with probes inside.

More eyes = everyone safer.

2. Stay aware (d-scan helps)

While mining, ratting or moving stuff, tap d-scan.

  • See probes / unknown ships → say it.
  • Tell us what you saw and when.
  • Even “might be nothing” is useful intel.

We’d rather know than be surprised.

3. Good bookmarks save time

Shared bookmarks are how we move fleets, roll holes and rescue people.

  • Bookmark new wormholes you find.
  • Mark dead / rolled connections.
  • Use the shared folders — not just personal.

If you found it, leave it for the next pilot.

4. Comms so we can help you

We can’t defend what we don’t hear about.

  • Discord / AA comms are part of living here.
  • “Hostile in chain” → drop it in the channel.
  • FC gives guidance → follow it, stay alive.

We use comms to protect, not to yell.

5. Don’t leak the path

We keep the system quiet so you can make ISK in peace.

  • Don’t give our current chain to outsiders.
  • Don’t say the system name in public places.
  • Suspicious contact → tell us, we’ll check.

This protects everyone’s income.

6. Always have a way home

Wormholes change. That’s normal.

  • If you see an exit, post it.
  • If you’re trapped, say so — rollers will open.
  • Moving expensive stuff? Ask for escort.

You’re not a bother — that’s what we’re here for.

Do these and you’ll love living in the hole. Skip these and you feed hunters. We prefer the first one. 🙂

Register Your Alts

Alts, Eyes & Intel Discipline

Registered alts watching entrances, scanning new signatures, and reporting to intel make the city harder to raid. Add your alts so we know who’s helping and so we can reward that work.

Register your alts

  • List your main and the other 1–2 chars on that account.
  • Add any extra “eyes” / scanner / rolling accounts.
  • Out-of-corp alts are OK — they still must be on our list.
  • Unregistered chars in system may be treated as unknown.

When your alt is on a gate...

  • Watch our side of the door
  • (If possible) watch the far side too
  • Scan new signatures
  • Post to #intel / alliance intel
  • Call for rolls on bad doors
  • Update active chains (MUTHR)

Intel & alert authority

  • All pilots should keep the intel channel open at all times.
  • Characters on eyes have explicit authority from CEO NotWell to make vocal red alert / security calls for immediate threats.
  • If you see hostiles enter, say it on intel and on comms — do not wait for an FC.
  • All Sons of Ores & MUTHR alliance members should be on mic/headset while active to avoid surprise kills.
  • We want eyes on statics, on any active op portals, and — when numbers allow — eyes in different quadrants of system running d-scan/sig checks.

Despite our numbers, hostiles can still slip in and do damage before we form. Early intel keeps ships alive.

BonusesRegistered eyes who report intel may receive CEO performance bonuses
CEO“System awareness is the difference between power and plunder.” — NotWell
COMMS / MUTHR

We fight on comms.

Wormhole fights are fast. If you can’t hear the FC, you can’t survive — or get SRP.

Discord required Voice for fleets Defense = comms mandatory

What you need

  • Join the Sons of Ores / MUTHR Discord — this is HQ.
  • Stay in intel / chain channels to see sigs, targets, payouts.
  • Voice on for fleets, PvP, and hole defense.
  • Mic is preferred — but at minimum you must be able to listen.

Best practice

  • Log in → jump in the correct Discord channel.
  • Reply to pings so FCs know who’s available.
  • Keep background noise low during fights.
  • Ping “need escort” if you’re trying to enter the hole.

Defense / CTA voice rule

When Senators or FCs call for defense, voice becomes mandatory for everyone in system. We’ll tell you what to undock, where to warp, and when to hold. No comms = no SRP for that op.

Listen to FC Acknowledge pings Form fast
Thanks for staying on comms — that’s how we keep the wormhole city alive. 🛰️
Operational Safety

Stay Alive in the City

Wormholes are never empty. Cloaky ships can be watching, chains can change, and hostiles can land fast. Stay on comms, keep intel open, and be ready to warp to the citadel with your PvP fit when we call it.

1. Comms & Intel

  • Be in corp/alliance voice while active.
  • Keep the intel channel open and visible.
  • Respond when red/security calls go out.
  • Post what you see: ships, probes, new sigs, unusual d-scan.

2. Position to survive

  • Stay aligned to the home citadel / main dock.
  • Know which citadel has doctrine PvP ships.
  • Keep a combat ship fitted or ready to swap.
  • Don’t AFK in space without saying so.

3. Chain & cloaky awareness

  • Assume there can be cloaky eyes in system at any time.
  • Report new signatures as soon as you see them.
  • If a door wasn’t there before, ask if it’s approved — if not, we roll it.
  • Eyes on chain = safer PvE, safer industry, better fleet launches.

Your best defense is knowing what doors are open and who opened them.

4. Activation drill

  • Red / Security call → dock or warp home immediately.
  • Swap to doctrine or whatever FC calls.
  • Get on comms and stay quiet until FC says otherwise.
  • If you were the one who spotted it, speak clearly and give system/door.

FC / TRAINING

10 Fleets → Full FC

Want to lead fleets for Sons of Ores? Start here. Prove you can move people safely through our wormhole system — with eyes — and we’ll give you the big chair.

What you must do

  • Run 10 successful fleets through our chain / system.
  • Use forward scouts for every warp / door.
  • Use rear / picket scouts to watch the door you came from.
  • Stay on comms the whole time.
  • Use corp bookmarks & OPSEC — no public chains.
  • Post a 3-line AAR after every fleet (who / what / result).

Fleets LT FCs can run

  • Home ISK fleets (sites / gas / ore) with escort.
  • WH patrols & intel sweeps.
  • “Kill that intruder” response fleets.
  • Escort / entry ops for members.
  • Small home-defense forms (if Senator is online).

Not allowed (yet): CTAs, evictions, move-ins, alliance ops.

Promotion

After 10 clean fleets, your AARs are reviewed. Promotion to Full FC requires approval from a Senator or CEO NotWell. This keeps FC standards high and our pilots safe.

10 fleets logged Scouts used AARs posted Senator / NotWell approved

Why scouts? Because this is a hidden wormhole city. We don’t blind-warp 15 people into a camp. Eyes ahead, picket behind, FC in command.

92 / 8 Buyback

Sons of Ores Buyback — Fund the Paradise

We buy almost everything you pull from the hole at 92% to you / 8% to the corp. That 8% fuels SRP, fuel, and ammo — and keeps doctrine ships stocked in-system for purchase and fleet SRP.

What we buy

  • Sleeper blue loot
  • Sleeper salvage (ribbons etc.)
  • Gas / Fullerenes (C50–C540)
  • Ore / Moon ore
  • Data / Relic site loot
  • PI (wormhole planets)
  • PvP / Kill loot
  • Fuel & strat supplies

If it came from our wormhole or a chain we rolled — we’ll buy it.

What the 8% funds

  • SRP for hole defense & CTAs
  • Fuel for all citadels & services
  • Ammo / drones so fleets can undock ready
  • Doctrine ships stocked in-system (sold to members; SRP’d in fleets)
  • Structure upkeep for the WH city
  • Escort / entry ops for members

Patriotic duty: selling to corp keeps Sons of Ores alive in wormhole space.

Status: Buyback online — fast payment, no hauling, paradise defended.

Counter-Intel

Rats, Spies & Data Thieves

Wormhole cities die from the inside, not the outside. If someone is here to map us, price us, or leak us — we will find them.

See a rat? Smell a rat? Say something.

Screenshot it, write what happened, and send it to:
ratsuspected@sons-of-ores.com

We keep reports discreet. We do not burn the reporter.

Rewards for confirmed rats

  • ISK bounties for solid intel.
  • Loot shares from seized assets.
  • Public credit (if wanted) on the “Wall of Loyalty”.

Good intel gets paid. Bad intel gets ignored.

Possible rat behavior

  • Asking for full chain right away.
  • Dropping sigs / screenshots into outside Discords.
  • “I need citadel fits” — but they’re new.
  • Logging alts near our doors / statics.
  • Fleet position leaks → hunters show up.

How we handle it

  • Intel is reviewed by CEO / Senators.
  • If confirmed → immediate exile.
  • All access revoked → kick / standings set hostile.
  • Names can be posted to the Exiled / Enemies of the System board.

What not to do

  • Don’t witch-hunt. “I don’t like him” ≠ rat.
  • Don’t ping corp chat with accusations.
  • Don’t leak the investigation to the suspect.
  • Don’t bait people into rule breaks.

We want real spies, not drama.

Our hole stays alive because people speak up. If you protect Sons of Ores, Sons of Ores pays you. 🜂

Exile Protocol

Enemy of the System

Our wormhole city survives on trust. Certain actions break that trust and can result in immediate removal from Sons of Ores / MUTHR, without notice.

Exile can happen for:

  • Leaking the chain / door / system location.
  • Setting up, ambushing, or baiting a fellow member.
  • Stealing from corp, structures, hangars or member assets.
  • Hostile comms toward the corp / alliance during an op.
  • Refusing to form on a called defense more than once.
  • Recruiting against Sons of Ores inside our own home.
  • Spy activity / 3rd-party intel to enemies.

What Exile Means

  • You are removed from corp/alliance.
  • You are no longer blue to us.
  • You may be listed on our “Enemy of the System” board.
  • You may be engaged on sight in our chain.

We don’t negotiate with people who endanger the hole.

If you fly honest, defend paradise, and keep OPSEC — you’ll never see this page again.

Corp Tools

The systems that run our wormhole city.

When you apply to Sons of Ores you start getting access to our tools — step by step — so you can live, earn and defend with us. Alliance applications stay closed until we reach 200 Sons of Ores.

1. Corp Website

Roles, doctrine concepts, culture, ops, expectations — everything is written down so you know how we run the hole.

  • Read about fleets & payouts
  • Review open positions
  • See how we defend the system

First thing new pilots see.

2. Alliance Auth

After we process your corp application, you’ll start using Alliance Auth to prove who you are and to manage your access.

  • EVE SSO / characters
  • Corp group membership
  • Access to buyback forms / tools

This is how we keep the system secure.

3. Discord / Comms

Fleet pings, chain updates, defense calls, rewards — all show up here.

  • Defense / “hole status” channels
  • Recruit / onboarding channel
  • Fleet / doctrine notifications

No comms = no wormhole awareness.

4. 92/8 Buyback Interface

Turn in loot, ore, gas, salvage — we pay, corp keeps 8% to fund SRP, fuel & ammo for everyone.

  • Clear categories (ore/gas/loot/PI)
  • Corp-side logistics
  • Supports monthly prize program

This is how we make the city self-funded.

5. Doctrines & fittings

Before launch/move-in we publish the ships we want in fleets so defense day is smooth.

  • WH defense fits
  • Scanning / utility fits
  • Industry / mining fleet fits

SRP is tied to approved fits.

6. Alliance Layer (Locked)

We’re not accepting alliance-level corp joins yet. We open MUTHR once Sons of Ores hits 200.

  • Alliance-level ops & defense
  • Shared intel between corps
  • More WH content opened up

Right now: corp-first, secure-first.

Apply → we onboard you → tools unlock in order. No randoms inside the hole.
